Some Things I'm Thankful For

The wife-unit, to-be mode

Thanksgiving is the nation's offically designated time to eat too much, watch football, complain about retail stores rushing the Christmas shopping season, go Christmas shopping, spend time with loved ones, and givethanks. Here are some of the things I'm thankful for.

That I was single when mini-skirts and hot-pants were in vogue.

That the wife-unit-to-be looked great in both.

That we were married the year midi-length skirts appeared.

That we combined resources to create three great kids.

That by then wet-wipes and disposable diapers were around.

That I was alive and able to see it all happen.

That I can still remember how good it was.

That I know how good it still is.
