Muscadine Lines: A Southern Journal

Muscadine Lines: A Southern Journal

This is a new literary e-zine edited by southern author Kathy Rhodes. In the last issue, she saw fit to run a tongue-in-cheek essay of mine, "What Summer Means To Me" as seen through the eyes of a young boy.

Proving she's a glutton for punishment, Kathy has used one of my short, short stories, "Moonlight & Revelations," in this issue. It's all about one gal and four guys going skinny-dipping one moonlit summer night and how it changed the attitude of one of those guys. The story is based on the second half of a chapter from my novel, We Danced to Ray Charles. It occurs towards the end of both summer and the novel.

If you get a chance, check it out along with the other short stories, essays, and poems in the new issue of Muscadine Lines at: http://www.asouthernjournal.com/

Just tell 'em Bayou Bill sent you. :)
